November Potluck and the Really, Really Free Market

November 20, 2009

This month’s potluck will be part of the Really, Really Free Market. What is a really, really free market? It’s an opportunity for you to share your surplus of clothing that doesn’t fit, small appliances that you no longer use and pretty much anything else you can think of that you no longer have a use for. It’s also a place to share ideas, skills and good food. A handful of workshops will be offered along with some singing and dancing and of course, a vegan potluck!

When: Sunday 11/22  1 – 6pm (potluck @2pm)

Where: The Peaceful Valley Community Center 214 N Cedar

Details: Bring your favorite vegan dish and your own utensils, plates, and a drink for yourself, or to share. This will be a family friendly event,  so bring the kids! Special this month, bring along household goods and clothing you no longer need and contribute them to the market.

Please note that the Spokane Vegans are not organizing this event. We’re just really excited about it and want to help spread the word! If you have any questions about the RRFM, please write to spokanefreemarket [at] gmail [dot] com. See you there!

I really wish I could, but I probably won’t be able to make it. I’m out in the North Whitman Co. boondocks, they’re predicting snow, and I still don’t have winter tires. Maybe the next one, but all winter might be iffy for me. I’ll take it a month at a time. Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas. Best of luck on your sale. We’ll see you as soon as I can.
